Composition of Vines:
Sangiovese (Prugnolo Gentile) Blend

Soil Composition:
Heterogeneous clay-righ terrain.

Harvest:
September-October

Vinification:
Varities are vinified separately in temperature-controlled steel vats until the sugar is dissolved. Maceration on skins for 15-20 days.

Ageing and Refining:
Fermented in stainless steel vats. Aged in 50 hL Slavonian oak barrels and barriques for 36 months. Refined in bottles for 6 months.

Sensory Analysis:

Colour:
Intense ruby red with garnet reflections.

Smell:
A wide range of elegant and full-bodied aromas with hints of ripe fruits, splashes of coffee and spices, refined by delicate touches of violet.

Taste:
Tannic texture, elegant and balanced.Rich taste, well-balanced, and lingering.

Food Pairings:
Beef, venison, and cured meats.

Service Temperature:
18-20 C, served in a Wide Chalice
